En la explanada del cuartel Militar Morelos fue despedido con honores el Oficial Auxiliar JUAN LÓPEZ ZURRIETA, de 39 años, quien falleciera en cumplimiento del deber el pasado martes.
 
López Zurrieta se desempeñaba como Policía Auxiliar en la negociación Oxxo ubicada sobre  la avenida Morelos del fraccionamiento Casas Grandes del distrito Presa Rural cuando fue abatido por delincuentes a quienes abordó al detectar que atacaban a balazos a un civil.
 
Como reconocimiento a su labor y compromiso, se le hizo este homenaje en presencia de sus familiares como muestra del orgullo que deben sentir por la vida y acciones de dicho elemento.
 
La ceremonia estuvo encabezada por el Presidente Municipal Jorge Ramos Hernández, el Secretario de Seguridad Publica Teniente Coronel Julián Leyzaola Pérez y el Director de la corporación Capitán 1ro de Infantería Gustavo Huerta Martínez, así como sus compañeros de la Policía Auxiliar, Comercial y Activa.
